 For most of my life, I was a mainstream gal — mainstream business, mainstream medicine, mainstream marketing. I did all the things success told me to do.

I earned a Master’s degree in Commerce and Marketing, worked with 1000's of business owners across industries and continents, and built a career that looked — from the outside — exactly as it should. I became a corporate executive, an award-winning business coach, and co-founder of a global foundation for social entrepreneurs. I even toured behind the scenes at Google, Apple, and Stanford, and traded stories with one of Silicon Valley’s Top 10 Most Influential People.

It was full, busy, impressive.But something was missing.

Then life stopped me in my tracks. A painful divorce. The loss of my home. And an autoimmune condition that every cell in my body refused to treat with surgery, medication, or radiation.

Somewhere inside, I knew there had to be another way.

So I turned to a naturopath — and within three months, my body began to heal itself. No side effects. No force. Just clarity, vitality, and trusting my inner guidance.

That experience changed everything.

It woke me up to a deeper intelligence — the same one that flows through nature, through the body, and through every business that’s truly alive. I realised the best strategies aren’t found in textbooks or tech giants — they’re found in living systems, in coherence, in truth.

I stopped chasing growth and started listening instead — to energy, to resonance, to what feels real. And that’s how Heartpreneur was born.

Heartpreneur isn’t just a business — it’s a movement and a way of being. It’s about creating from the inside out. About building businesses that fit who you are, not who you think you should be.

Through my teaching on Resonant Marketing, I invite people to treat marketing not as manipulation but as an act of service and play — a love letter that helps the right people find you. My book, The Client Attraction Playbook: For Healers, Therapists & Coaches Who Don’t Like Marketing, captures that philosophy: practical, soulful, and free of hype or burnout.

These days, I work with heart-led entrepreneurs, healers, and conscious business owners who want to grow — but in a way that feels good. People who want to serve deeply, live freely, and create in alignment with who they truly are.

Together, we build businesses that feel aligned, joyful and free — rooted in coherence, attraction,  contribution, and truth.

I live by the ocean in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, with my partner John — where life is slower, the air is softer, and ideas for the next evolution of Heartpreneur often arrive with the tide.

Because business isn’t separate from life. It’s how we share who we are with the world.

And when we do that from the heart — it heals more than we know.
